Delivery times can vary depending on the type of product you order. We have therefore listed estimated delivery times on each item description page. The delivery times are approximate and quoted as working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). We will contact you to arrange a convenient day with yourself to accept delivery. If you need your order in a hurry then we can arrange for a next day delivery service. Please call us to place an order if you need your order next day.

Smaller items less 30 kg will be delivered by a courier. This is an all-day ground floor doorstep service, a signature is a requirement and you must check your items within 24 hours and report any damages to us within a reasonable time.

Large parcels and pallets items over 30 kg are sent out on freight/pallet service to avoid damage in transit. The delivery driver will not be able to carry the goods up or down steps, carry the goods through a property, wheel the pallet across a gravel driveway or up particularly steep driveways. Unfortunately, the delivery company will be unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. The driver will normally only be able to wheel the pallet as far as physically possible which may even be the kerbside. We will contact you to arrange a convenient day with yourself to accept delivery. This will allow you to choose the day for delivery.

A surcharge applies for deliveries to Highlands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Europe please contact us for prices.

You live in an area where access will be difficult for a vehicle of this size.
Our delivery team won't be able to use a pallet truck to move your order (limited access, gravel driveway, etc.)


We always try to ensure stock availability is accurately displayed on the website. Any item that is out of stock will display an estimated arrival date of the next shipment. If you pre-order an out of stock item, stock from the next shipment will be reserved for you and despatched once the shipment has arrived.

Where items are despatched directly from our supplier and we are not aware of an item being out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of the date of the next shipment, at which point you can either choose an alternative item, cancel your order, or request that stock be allocated to you and despatched when the shipment arrives.

If any items you order are not available and have no estimated arrival date, we will contact you and offer you an alternative item or if no alternative is available, we will cancel your order and issue you with a refund.


It is our aim to offer products that represent good value for money and we want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from Fireland. In the unlikely event that you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase and you want to return the goods we are pleased to offer all customers a 14 Day No Quibble Refund giving you peace of mind when you’re buying something off the internet. This will give you 14 working days in which to decide to keep the goods or return it to us for a refund.  

This meets our legal obligations to our customers under the European Directive of long distance selling. These regulations state that a person who has ordered a product online, over the phone or via a catalogue has the unconditional right to cancel the order within 14 working days of delivery without having to give us a reason. The 14 days starts from the day of delivery. To cancel your order you need to notify us, this can be either by e-mail or letter. We recommend e-mail as it keeps a record of your cancellation.

If you wish to return the items you ordered, then in accordance with our legal obligations we will issue a full refund on the purchase price of the goods. Please note however that it is the buyer that is responsible for any carriage costs incurred. This cost is usually between £50 - £120 depending on where you are and what the item is.

More remote postcodes (AB, IV, DD, PH…) can cost more. Please contact us if you need confirmation before ordering.

This is a direct cost to us to have the item collected and returned. We will deduct this amount from the refund. It can be an expensive job to carefully transport large delicate goods and we ask that customers make themselves aware of these charges before purchasing and make sure that they call us before processing order if they are in any doubt if the item is suitable for their requirements.

If you wish you can arrange to return the items yourself. 

Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the goods back. However, it is usually done within the same working week. All goods must be returned to us in their original packaging and in a good and unused condition for a full refund to be processed.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to process a full refund unless the goods are: Packed in their original packaging and in a resalable condition. Returned with a completed returns form, this will be e-mailed for you to complete and must be attached to the outside of the packing in a sealed envelope. If the goods aren't returned in a resalable condition then we reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund to return the item to a saleable condition.
